Delhi’s capitals are still looking for their ipl single title. We discuss four players who could be key to DC if they are going to break the Jinx in IPL 2025.
Among the only three teams to be part of the Premier League India since its inception and not having won a title are Capitals of Delhi. It is not surprising that they are also one of the most unstable and poorly managed franchises.
IPL 2020 was the closest that the coveted trophy came to win, but hesitated in the final against the powerful Indians of Mumbai. Since then, Delhi Capitals has made several changes in its list, including the delivery of the reins to Axar Patel.
Before the IPL 2025 auction, DC separated from Rishabh Pant and retained Axar, Kuldeep Yadav, Tristan Stubbs and Abishek Porel. During the auction, they used the right to combine in Jake Fraser-Mcgurk and Mikesh Kumar while acquiring the tastes of KL Rahul, FAF du plessis, Harry Brook, Mitch Starc and T. Natarajan.
From the team they have built, here there are four key players who could decide their destination in IPL 2025.
Kl satisfied
Kl Rahul sold to Indian fans dreams of a superstar batter T20 in 2018, but then disappeared completely in an attempt for a place on the national side. During the last six IPL editions, Rahul’s score rate has been a great concern to a point where it had consequences with not one but two franchises.
Since 2019, Rahul has a scandalous average of 50 in the IPL, but has reached only 132, which translates into 50 of 38. Tickets like this, where a batter takes a large part of the deliveries and scores at a poor speed, They are extremely harmful for equipment. It is not surprising that Punjab Kings and Lucknow Super Giants perform badly.
Kl Rahul is now outside the T20 side of India and the only way to return to the dispute is to be more aggressive. What version of Rahul appears could decide the IPL 2025 Capitals campaign.
