Ab de Villiers takes Dale Steyn’s example to manage Jasprit Bumrah’s workload
Despite its heroity for the franchise and the country, Bumrah is also in a vulnerable situation due to its back injuries in recent times that Indian management need not to use its prime minister.
De Villiers suggested that it is better to play Bumrah in the remaining four tests of the Tendulkar-Anderson trophy against England and rest it for the White-Ball series. He said that this is what South Africa did with a talent talent like Steyn, which is the highest of South Africa Wickt in tests with 439 WICKETS of 93 tests.
“Test Cricket is the definitive form of the game. And this series of tests would probably have been the one that, in my opinion, prepared it for the five trial games. That is what we used to do with Dale (Steyn). Rest in a series of T20 and hate less important and prepare it for the series of great tests against Australia, England and India away from Neozeland to a reference point, depending on a point of reference.
