Tilak Varma continued his brilliant way in the Tournament of Division One of the County Championship when Hampshire’s batter scored half a century against Worcestershire in Southampton on Tuesday. In the previous match against Essex in June, Tilak Varma had scored a century in the debut of his county.
Tilak Varma presents a case for the Indian test team
The 22 -year -old scored 56 races of 171 balls and his blow consisted of seven and six. He started to hit the number 4 with the Hampshire score reading 47/2. Hampshire was further restricted to 74/4.
But Tilak Varma played a quiet and composed blow to take Hampshire to 221. In addition to Tilak, Tom Pers also played a struggle blow of 48. The Tilak Varma duo and Tom Perst forged 80 races for the sixth wickt.
Tilak Varma’s blow comes at a time when the Indian test team is experiencing a transition after the retreats of Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli. Shubman Gill assumed the position of Test Captain of Nuevo India and directed the team in the first test against England.

India, however, suffered a defeat of five Wickt against the hosts in the first test in Leeds last week. Sai Sudharsan made his debut in the test in that game, but managed to score only 30 races after being fired for a duck in the first tickets. Karun Nair, returning to the Indian test team, endured tens of 0 and 20 in both tickets.
Tilak Varma’s international race
Tilak Varma has not yet made its debut in the Indian test, but has represented the country in both limited formats. He has played four hate, after having scored 68 races, including fifty. The Hyderabad Cricket player has represented India in 25 T20IS, scoring 749 races of 25 games that include three fifty -two centuries.
