Lucknow Super Giants (LSG), owned by Sanjiv Goenka, has acquired a 49% participation in the one hundred franchise, Manchester Originals. After the Indians of Mumbai (MI), LSG became the second Indian team of the Premier League (IPL) in wasteful in the ongoing sales of the hundred franchises.
