England’s Cricket team is ready for a transition, since they recently announced a new white ball captain in Harry Brook. On the other hand, Brendon McCullum assumed the position of coach of every format earlier this year.
However, the three Lions under Baz have not yet won any important tournament. They did not qualify for the World Testing Championship final (WTC) and also faced an exit from the group stage at the 2025 Champions Trophy at the beginning of this year.
While a change in training configuration could be a distant discussion for England, the mentor of Delhi Capitals (DC) Kevin Pietersen also put his hat in the ring for paper as well.
Talking to Telegraph in an exclusive conversation, KP said: “I’ve always been available for Rob Key. He knows it. I would still love to hit. But I love to train and have that absolute and hungry desire to win and try to make our players the best players that can be, mentally, technically and physically.

The team led by Axar Patel was undefeated in the IPL 2025 season for its first four games before facing their first defeat against the Mumbai Indians (MI) in their previous clash.
Looking at his first IPL trophy, DC made an abrasing start with victories about Lucknow Super Giants (LSG), Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH), Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Royal Challengers Bengalu (RCB).
Currently, placed secondly in the points table with eight points of five games, DC will seek to win again when they face Rajasthan Royals (RR) tonight.
