He achieved this record in the first tickets of the party.

During the first entries of the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) vs Chennai Super Kings (CSK) of the Premier League clash of the Indian Premier (IPL) 2025, MS Dhoni has achieved a single record. He has become the first player to complete 200 layoffs in the 18 -year -old league.

Dhoni’s 200 number 200 wickt was completed when he touched the batter LSG Ayush Badoni of the Ravindra Jadaja bowling.

Badoni had lowered the field too early to play Spinner. The ball went from par, giving Dhoni a lot of time to perplex him several times.

The review confirmed that Dhoni collected the ball behind the line. Over the years, the former Captain of India has built and maintained the reputation of being the fastest man behind the stumps. This was just another day for Cskians to rejoice in unison.

On the other hand, Badoni looked dangerous after LSG lost his lowest order at a low price. Before leaving, he had criticized two six and one limit. He scored 22 17 -ball races before being fired.

The hosts made a relatively disappointing batting show in their garrison. At the end of 20 overs, the LSG score read 166/7 with the pattern Rishabh Pant being the best scorer with 63 of 49. Mitchell Marsh, Badoni and Abdul Samad crucial cameos helped LSG to establish this even score.

Jadeja and Matheesha Pathirana celebrated with two wickts each, while Khaleel Ahmed and Anshul Kamboj attacked a wickt each.

Dhoni put on the captaincy hat once again for CSK after the injury in the elbow of Ruturaj Gaikwad. CSK has named Ayush Mhatre, 17, as Gaikwad’s replacement in the team.

While it is not an exaggeration to consider Dhoni as the fastest glove, his batting fire power has been questionable this season. Although at the age of 43, Dhoni still has the strength and ability to hit six throughout the park, his show with the willow has been a senior. It has arrived as low as number 9 when the RRR would have triggered the sky. In six games so far, he has gathered only 106 at an attack rate of 146.47.

With Gaikwad not available for the rest of the season, many lower order responsibilities fall on Dhoni’s shoulders to direct the tickets for CSK.

As CSK captain, Dhoni is playing only his second game. Previously, the Super Kings were defeated in their native country by the Kolkata Knights. Chepauk, who used to be CSK’s strength until last year, has seen some of the most shameful and record losses against the Royal Challengers Bangalore and Delhi Capitals.

With only one victory in six games so far, CSK comes at the bottom of five consecutive losses this season. The five -time IPL champions sit at the bottom of the points table, observing that their hopes of qualifying for the playoffs fader with each defeat.
