
The Australia star, Ashleigh Gardner, has replaced Compatriot Beth Mooney as the captain of the Premier League franchise (WPL) Gujarat Giants for the next season.
The chief coach of the giants, Michael Klinger, has said that the decision so that Mooney can focus on his Wicktkeeping and his opening role.
“I would like to thank Mooney for his highly valuable leadership. Now, you can concentrate on WICKETKEEPING and open the batting alignment. She is still an important leader of our group, ”said Klinger.

Gujarat Giants shakes support staff before WPL
Before the new season, the giants had separated from the assistant coach and the current coach of women under 19 Nooshin al Khadeer and the batting coach Mithali Raj.
