Lahore Qalandars had a disastrous season last year, winning one and losing eight games.
The two -champion Lahore Qalandars will seek to get up from the ashes while preparing for the Super League of Pakistan (PSL) 2025. Shaheen Afridi’s men won consecutive titles in 2022 and 2023, becoming the only team to achieve feat. The next season, however, it was a disaster for them when they ended at the bottom.
Lahore Qalandars could only handle a victory in the previous season and lost eight games. They will start again in PSL 2025, with several new additions to the side. Lahore retained most of his squad and has acquired some good assets in the draft of PSL 2025. The Qalandars have main names in their ranks along with Afridi, including Haris Rauf, Fakhar Zaman, Daryl Mitchell and Sikandar race.

Shaheen Shah Afridi
Shaheen Shah Afridi is an integral part of the Lahore Qalandars franchise. In the PSL, it has taken 103 WICKETS of 71 games in an economy of 8.00. It has also been useful with the bat, scoring 240 races in the last two editions at an attack rate of 165. However, the recent Shaheen bowling form has not been excellent and could be a concern for the team.
Fakhar Zaman
Fakhar Zaman will be a key player for Lahore Qalandars this season. He had a poor season last year, where he achieved only 157 races at an average of less than 20 and a strike rate of 115. He is still one of the best T20 batters in the country. Fakhar has more than 2,500 races in his PSL career, averaging 30.42 and surprising 140.
Haris Rauf
Haris Rauf played only four games in the last edition of PSL and his absence hurt them. I was not in the best way during that period too. Rauf seems to have returned to a better pace in recent times. It was excellent in the recent T20 series against New Zealand, claiming eight wickts in four games in 7.53 economy.
