ILT20 2025 will take place from January 11 to February 9, 2025.
In a recent development, the dates for the upcoming ILT20 2025 season have been confirmed. The six-team franchise competition in the Middle East will take place from January 11 to February 9, 2025.
However, it is now understood that the third edition of ILT20 will see a major clash in dates with other global T20 leagues. The early next year window for which dates have been confirmed coincides with the SA20, Big Bash League (BBL), Super Smash (New Zealand) and Bangladesh Premier League (BPL).
The third season of SA20 is scheduled from January 9 to February 8. Meanwhile, the BBL will begin on December 15 and continue until January 27, 2025. The BPL is scheduled to begin on December 30 and end in February. December 7, 2025. Additionally, the New Zealand Super Smash tournament will take place from December 26 to February 2.

PSL expected to clash with IPL
The ILT20 2025 season will see a total of 34 matches, with the final at the Dubai International Stadium.
David White, chief executive of ILT20, acknowledged that the January-February 2025 calendar was very full, compounded by the “additional complications” of the Champions Trophy. He mentioned that ILT20 was considering several alternatives, including moving the tournament to the October-November period.
Despite this, the league, which gained ICC List A status ahead of the 2024 season, ultimately opted to maintain its traditional January-February schedule, in line with the previous two editions.
Separately, earlier this year, the PCB announced plans to shift the PSL to an April-May window to escape the increasingly congested December-February period. However, this adjustment would result in an overlap with the LPI.
