Colin Munro de Islamabad United called Finen Sultan Sultan Spinner Iftikhar Ahmed by Chucking during a Super League match of Pakistan (PSL) between the two parties in fine on Wednesday.
What happened exactly?
The incident occurred in the tenth of the persecution of Islamabad United when Colin Munro was on strike. Iftikhar Ahmed seemed to throw Munro’s ball instead of simply playing it, and Munro quickly noticed this and complained. The two got into a heated discussion before Iphtikhar and the rest of the players of the Sultan fine approached the referees. The referees, however, did not do much and instructed the players to continue with the game.
Chucking is an illegal bowling alley shape where a bowling player throws the ball into the hitter instead of bowling.
What ICC says about illegal bowling action
“An illegal bowling of bowling is where a player is throwing instead of playing ball. This is defined by the CPI as where the player’s elbow extends for an amount of more than 15 degrees between his arm that reaches the horizontal and the ball that is released,” says the International Cricket Council (ICC) in its rules and regulations on its website.

Fine Sultans had won the raffle and chose to hit Islamabad United first. The side led by Mohammad Rizwan registered a total of 168/5 on the back of a 61 of 40 balls of Usman Khan. Rizwan (36) and Yasir Khan (29) also played valuable blows. At the time of writing this report, Islamabad United was 144/2 in 15 overs with Andies Gous (64) and Mohammad Nawas (11) undefeated.
