England will receive Western Indies for an ODI series from May 29.
England will receive the Western Indies for a three -game odi series from tomorrow. This series will be Harry Brook’s first assignment as the newly appointed white ball pattern in England. The Cricket Board of England and Wales (ECB) announced to Brook as the successor of Jos Buttler and handed him the leadership of the team in limited formats.
England has recently faced some difficult outings in the 50 OVER format. They made an exit in the group stage with three out of three losses while facing Australia, Afghanistan and South Africa in the ICC Champions Trophy 2025. Previously, the English team was also enchanted in a series of ODI of three games in India in February 2025.
On the other hand, the Western Indies have recently drawn an ODI series against Ireland with a great 197 -racing victory in the final accessory (by DLS method). Previously, they also claimed a 3-0 sweep on Bangladesh in an ODI series in December 2024.
