
The Punjab Kings pacemaker, Xavier Bartlett, has joined a long list of international Cricket players who will exhibit their talent in the United States with the Major Leagues Cricket (MLC) while registering in the San Francisco Unicor Super Kings.
Bartlett, who was the highest of Wickt-Tomador in the Big Bash League 2023-24 for Brisbane Heat with 20 scalp of 11 games, will be the Australian fourth to join the unicorns after the first-order hitters Jake Fraser-McGurk, Cooper Connolly and Matthew Short.
For the next season as of June, the San Francisco unicorns have already signed the first New Zealand game, Finn Allen, the former Kolkata batter Knight Riders, Tim Seifert, and former Royal Challengers Bengaluru, Corey Anderson.
Anderson played for New Zealand before, but is an international US. UU.
Xavier Bartlett’s impressive T20 race
Bartlett received a contract for Cricket Australia last year after making his debut in T20i and Odi in the local series against Western Indies. The Pacer Medium has played seven T20i so far and claimed 11 wickts.
Under Ricky Ponting, he has played three games for the Punjab Kings in India Premier League (IPL) 2025 and launched into economic spells while collecting two WICKETS.

However, he could not appear in the Champions Trophy 2025 despite multiple injuries in his department of rhythm, where Australia reached the semifinals.
“Xavier has demonstrated his skill leading the bowling of bowling for the Heat Brisbane in the Big Bash League and will be a great addition to the Unicorns Bowling alignment with his ability to take Wickt with the new ball,” said Chief coach Watson.
“After having developed through national roads in Australia and in the international scene, he has matured in a very intelligent rhythm player, capable of maintaining the low and rupture of key associations,” Watson added.

The Australians have been a prominent part of the MLC since the last edition with characters such as Pat Cummins, Glenn Maxwell and Steve Smith with the best teams. This year, the veteran opener David Warner has signed for Seattle Orcas.
The New Zealand Cricket has a great participation in the next seasons, since they agreed with an agreement with the MLC for a coprophity in a franchise when the MLC expands to eight teams in 2027.
