Kolkata Knight Riders Spinner (KKR) Varun Chakravarthy was full of praise for his team’s pattern, Ajinkya Rahane, after his dominant victory over Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) at IPL 2025 on Thursday.
Varun is Rahane’s captaincy
Varun Chakravarthy ended with impressive 3/22 figures when Kolkata Knight riders achieved a victory of 80 races over Sunrisers Hyderabad, which were out for 120 while looking for a target of 201. “He (Rahane) is capturing us for the first time, he was the best tonight,” Varun said after the game.
How it turned out to be the KKR vs Srh game
Sunrisers Hyderab had won the raffle and asked Kolkata Knight Riders to beat Gardens first. However, the hosts had an unstable start when they lost the Kock (1) and Sunil Narine (7) in the power game. However, the pattern Ajinkya Rahane (38) and Angkrish Raghuvanshi (50) led the recovery of Kolkata Knight Riders with an 81 -run position for the third Wickt.
