With the IPL 2025 season approaching, Rajasthan Royals has shared an update on Vaibhav Suryavanshi. The 13 -year -old made news last year when he became the youngest player to be chosen at an IPL auction. RR bought it for an amount of INR 1.10 million rupees.

Speaking at the press conference, RR bat coach Vikram Vistahour suggested that Vaibhav Suryavanshi’s debut in the IPL may not happen immediately. While praising his exceptional talent, Visthour said that the decision to include it in the XI game would depend on the team’s strategy, the launch conditions and the opposition. He mentioned that Suryavanshi signed because he is a very special player with a lot of skill. Despite being so young, Visthour said that he has rarely seen someone of his age with such power. He added that the signals are promising, and if Suryavanshi continues to work hard, it will surely become a great player in the future.

“I am not sure that we use it or not, it will depend on the strategy, the surface and the opposition.

On the international stage, he caught attention with a quick century against Australia in Chennai, reaching one hundred in just 58 balls. It was the fastest for an Indian Cricket in Youth. He also helped India reach the final of the ACC under 19 Asia Cup by scoring two important means.
