Chris Woakes opens in retirement plans

“I don’t think it’s playing when I am 41 years old, James, particularly for England. I have tried to make the most of my career. I am still in that position where I feel that I am trying to improve, trying to improve every time I leave. I spend that knowledge, as I said. People like to talk a lot about age,” Chris Woakes told reporters during a press conference on Monday.

However, he did not give any period with respect to his possible retirement. He said he will continue playing while his body allows it.

“But at the same time, it’s just a number. While contributing to the team and I feel that I am doing well, then I will continue. If one day comes that kind of time where you get a touch on the shoulder, then so. But at this time I am enjoying. I love being in the group.
