‘I need to work harder’: the Gujarat Titans star says that bowling players can only try to prevent more than 300 scores at IPL 2025 from occurring

Rashid Khan, the Gujarat Titans star spinner, felt that the scores of more than 300 in the T20 Cricket have gone from being a dream score to become a reality and depends on bowling players make sure that this does not happen in the Premier League (IPL) of India (IPL) 2025.

This season, there have been nine scores of more than 200 with six of them in three games where both teams have overcome the great score. In the first round of matches, Rajasthan Royals managed to reach 242/6 in 20 overs in response to the 286/6 of Sunrisers Hyderabad, while GT almost pursued 244 against Punjab Kings, but fell short of 11 races.

Rashid Khan’s GT SRH Take in IPL 2025

Rashid felt that bowling players should be smarter in the field and work harder on the networks to make sure that does not happen this IPL season.

“These things have happened to be just thoughts. I think the batters have begun to play high -risk shots from the beginning. As a bowling player, you prepare for soil and opposition conditions,” Rashid said in an interview with Star Sports.

Star Leg-Spinner said that even if the launch does not help and that the opposition seems to write down a massive total, the responsibility is in the bowling player to ensure that the real score is less than the predicted score.

“Even if the opposition seems to make 260, you think of ‘How can I reduce this to 220?’ Or get 220 to 200. For that, you must work harder on the networks, ”said Rashid.

In GT form, SRH is deflated

Rashid, who is the WICKET leader in the history of the T20 format with 635 chasing leathers in his name, felt that he still tries to do the same things even after becoming a name feared in the world cryket.

“I try to remove the wickt from each ball, but the main approach is to play in the right areas and restrict the dough. Even if the batters think about being defensive against me and aiming other bowling players, I will try to be more aggressive with my bowling,” he said.

“The foundations for any bowling player is to generate pressure on the dough. So I try to do it always and I do not worry about WICKETS every time,” he added.

Rashid will be in action on Sunday when Gujarat’s Titans face Sunrisers out of Hyderabad in the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad after beating the real Bengaluru challengers in their native land.
