De Leede became the fourth player in ODI history to score a hundred and take 5 wickets in the same match. Furthermore, he recorded the highest score for the Netherlands during a chase.

Netherlands captain Scott Edwards also praised De Leede for his all-round performance for the ages.
“Build man a statue. That was an amazing game. It’s hard to find a better performance in ODI cricket in a long time. He is an incredible player. Everyone is aware of that. It’s not the first time he’s done it and it won’t be the last,” he said.
