Former Indian captain Virat Kohli is about to achieve a unique milestone in the upcoming Test series against the West Indies. Virat Kohli will become the second Indian cricketer, after Sachin Tendulkar, to achieve this unique record in away Test cricket.
India will kick off their campaign in the 2023-25 World Test Championship (WTC) cycle with a series against the West Indies. The team managed by Rohit Sharma will face the team managed by Kraigg Brathwaite in the first test of a two-game series at Windsor Park in Dominica starting on July 12.

Virat Kohli on the verge of achieving a unique record
As India prepares to face the West Indies in their first Test, all eyes will be on virat kohli as he is set to match another single record held by Sachin Tendulkar. This time the record involves facing a father and son duo in test cricket away from home.
The 34-year-old batsman played legendary batsman Shivnarine Chanderpaul during India’s tour of the West Indies in 2011. The right-handed batsman has a chance to play his son, Tagenarine Chanderpaul, in the first Test of the upcoming series.

Tagenarine Chanderpaul is expected to open the innings for his skipper Kraigg Brathwaite in the first test match. He has shown promise in his early Test career. He scored 453 runs in seven matches at an average of 45.30, including a hundred.
