The veteran rapid player from England, James Anderson, has registered in the next hundred 2025 draft next week, scheduled to take place on March 12.

In particular, he had also registered to play at the Indian Premier League (IPL 2025), but unfortunately it was not sold at the auction last November.

Anderson has been out of professional Cricket since its last trial match against Western Indies last July. Since then, he has assumed a role as a consultant coach for England, contributing during the winter and now in the 2025 Champions Trophy.

However, in January, he assured a one -year contract with Lancashire, extending his participation during the 2025 season. Now, he is fixing the sight of making his debut in the hundred.

Almost six years have passed since Anderson played for the last time at the white ball cryket and more than a decade since its most recent appearance in T20. Despite this, the objective of appearing in the T20 explosion for Lancashire this year.

Interestingly, Anderson could still appear at one hundred 2025 in case he does not find a suitor, such as a wild card or replacement of injuries.

Anderson, 43, if he participates this year, will become the second oldest player in the history of the tournament, after Imran Tahir, who played in 2022 at the age of 43.

Anderson also sounds safe from his one hundred ambitions after the ball batch used in the hundred last summer moved prodigiously from seam and air.

Anderson had said: “Seeing the hundred this year, seeing the ball turns, it makes me feel that I could do a job there.”
