
South Africa will block the horns with Australia in the WTC final as of June 11.
WICKETKEPER-BATTER-BATTER RYAN RICKELTON has opened about how his recent experience in the Premier League of India (IPL) 2025 would help him in the next World Testing Championship (WTC) Final 2025. “There is no coin that is not careers and the batters also make confidence in putting in good performance races too. But I have also taken a lot of IPL confidence, just spending time in different conditions, but also in some decent performances with really talented players worldwide,” he told ICC.

Proteas batter has the hope of ending its drought from the ICC trophy with the title of Championship Test. The finalist finalists will face the defense champions of Australia in the clash of the WTC summit in the Stadium of the Lord, as of June 11.
“There is no doubt that everything contributes. But, again, it is a new day. I suppose it is a new dawn for all of us. And hopefully, I can take those past experiences and those learning and try to replicate them next week. What a great opportunity to represent South Africa to be in a final and have a crack in the magician,” he said.

However, the 28 -year -old admitted that he is doing everything possible to not think about the WTC final. He recalled his only experience in the Red Party in England in 2022. The batter also expected not to feel overwhelmed in the great stage and execute his learning of the previous tour.
“I am trying not to think about that with my honesty. I had the pleasure of being, we played England. So I have a feeling of what the experience is about. With luck, the occasion does not become too great and I can lie in that experience just to know what I am going to expect,” Rickelton said.

Since his debut in the longest Cricket format against Bangladesh in 2022, the young man has accumulated 616 races in 10 games, including two centuries so far. However, the batter will face Australia for the first time in the red ball cryket.
