The tournament was suspended due to growing tensions between India and Pakistan

Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 will resume shortly after the BCCI informed all franchises, except Punjab Kings to inform their respective places before Tuesday (May 13), according to an Indian Express report.

The tournament was suspended on Friday due to growing tensions between India and Pakistan. However, with both nations in agreement for a high fire on Saturday, resumption plans have been launched.

IPL 2025 teams will report on Tuesday

According to the report, BCCI plans to conclude the tournament on May 25. There are 17 most remaining games in the tournament with 12 more games in the League stage to play.

Punjab Kings will have a neutral place that will be decided by the government. There were reports that Chennai, Hyderabad and Bengaluru were the places for the rest of the tournament, but the BCCI will have to obtain the approval of the government.
