IPL 2025 suspended due to the increase in India-Pakistan tensions

The Control Board of India Premier League (IPL) has been suspended by the Cricket Control Board in India (BCCI) due to the increase in tensions between India and Pakistan.

IPL 2025 suspended

The decision to suspend IPL occurred after Thursday’s game between Punjab Kings (PBKs) and Delhi Capitals (DC) was canceled during the first tickets. Until now, 58 games have been played this season, including the abandoned game in Dharamsala. There were 12 league games, along with two qualifiers, a eliminator and the final.

Today’s game was between LSG and RCB at the Ekana stadium. It was a good decision of the BCCI to suspend the IPL, since the security of the nation and the players are first.
