The officials of the Bengal Cricket Association approach the Western Resolution Bengal Minister of Sports
Officials of the Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) have approached the Minister of Sports of Western Bengal, Aroop Biswas, regarding security concerns for the party. The minister has assured his support and will discuss the matter with the Kolkata police to find a solution.
Reprovision or changing the place is a challenge due to the high anticipation surrounding the accessory. The game has obtained an additional meaning because the owner of the Lucknow Super Giants, Sanjiv Goenka, has strong ties with Kolkata and the team recently signed Rishabh Pant.
“In response, the officials of the Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) have participated in discussions with the State Sports Minister Aroop Biswas, according to the sources. The Minister of Sports has assured the CAB of his support and promised to discuss with the Kolkata police to identify a feasible solution,” the report added.
