He has shown supreme control over its length, and the 21 -year -old specializes in bowling and carriers.

With large local T20 leagues in different states, several unknown talents have impressed with their superior experience in several departments and have presented a case of selection at the IPL 2026 auction. Among them is Nuruddin Mondal, who has impressed with his rapid bowling in the Bengal Pro T20 League.

Mondal has been very impressive in this edition of the competition and is the second Wicket pilot so far. It has 18 WICKETS in a fabulous average of 11.66 and a 9.33 strike rate in eight outputs, including four three wickt sets.

He has shown supreme control over its length, and the 21 -year -old specializes in bowling and carriers at will. In a video posted by one of the accounts on the social media platform X (previously Twitter), Mondal’s ability to balance the old ball was visible, and its lengths were precise in that brief clip.

In a conversation with Sportz Point, Mondal himself revealed how he practiced these two balls (Yorkers and Buncers) to gain control and has the confidence to execute them in any situation. Even Wriddhiman Saha praised him in a fast fire session, where he said that the young man can represent India in the future, which clearly suggests that Saha sees something special in him.

What teams can aim at Nuruddin Mondal at the IPL 2026 auction?

Indian fast bowling players are always an asset, and when they can be a long -term investment, that is an advantage for the sides. Therefore, Nuruddin Mondal will definitely be in dispute to be sold next season after an impressive race in the last year or so.

Several teams are looking for quality Indian pacemakers, especially after their first election players could not perform according to the expectations last season. Among them are Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH), which had an unstable alignment, exacerbated by the bad performances of Mohammed Shami throughout the edition.

They would like someone who could be effective in all phases, a role they expected from Shami. Chennai Super Kings (CSK) is another team that could reinforce their stocks of rhythm after a poor season last season, which lagoons exhibited in their team, and will launch several players before the auction.

Even Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) will take it into account since Vaibhav Arora was not so impressive, and the team lacks other Indian options in the department of rhythm. They must have an eye on the best talents in the Bengal Pro T20 League, given their strong local connection.
