
Mrs. Dhoni and Co. were the first team to leave the IPL 2025 tournament.
The five times champions of the Premier League of India (IPL), Chennai Super Kings (CSK), had the shortest period this season. The yellow attire became the first team to be expelled from the dispute for the Playoffs of IPL 2025. The team achieved only four 14 games wins and finished its forgettable campaign with a wooden spoon. CSK was plagued with injuries, including that of its Ruturaj Gaikwad pattern. He was discarded in the middle of the tournament, and Mrs. Dhoni took over the reins. Dewald Brevis in South Africa was one of the replacements of lesions for CSK.

During an interaction with Talksport, Brevis shared his experience of playing along with Mrs. Dhoni.
He said: “Mrs. Dhoni is incredible. I have seen that she is as in a form as any other player, she always has time for you. You are always welcome to go to him, talk with him, talk about Cricket, life, anything. It is a true living legend.”

The 22 -year -old sensation could not attract any offer in the mega auction of IPL 2025 after Mumbai’s Indians released him. However, Brevis returned to the league as a replacement for injuries for Gurjapneet Singh. CSK immediately included the protea in its XI game as soon as it joined the camp.
Brevis played six games this season, scoring 225 races at an impressive 180s strike rate. His heroics also include two half centuries. Brevis’ maximum score came in a crucial encounter against the Gujarat Titans (GT). Playing in the last CSK match this year, its 57 -racing ball stroke set the team for victory. CSK finished his campaign with a high note with a victory against the table torship.

The former Indian pattern also had a bad career in the IPL 2025. From 13 outputs, Dhoni returned with 196 races at an abysmal strike rate of 135.17. He hit 12 limits and six each, which showed that he still has the power of the winning blows of the game. However, the captain was as good as his team. CSK was able to win only three out of nine games under the captaincy of Thala.
According to his interaction during the presentation after the GT crash, Dhoni is not sure of his IPL retirement.
In his words, “I am not saying that I have finished, without saying that I will return. I have the luxury of time. I will think about it and then decide.”
