India has agreed multiple new faces for the England series that begins on June 20

India will have several new faces on your team when they travel to England for the five -game test series from June 20.

While the tastes of Karun Nair and Shardul Thakur are doing a long -awaited return, Arshdeep Singh, Abhimanyu Easwaran and Sai Sudharsan have been called to the main team for the first time.

All three newcomers have had experience in England previously: Easwaran with India ‘A’ on previous tours, Arshdeep Singh with the Kent and Sai Sudharsan County side with Surrey.

While many have praised the technique of the young left -hander as suitable for the longest format, former Tamil coach Nadu Sulakshan Kulkarni felt that it is not enough to face swing and sewing in cloudy English conditions.

Kulkarni had trained Sudharsan in the domestic season 2023-24, said that the young man had failed to score care races that need technical adjustments to succeed abroad.

He also pointed out the left -handed first class record: 29 games, 1,957 races that include seven hundred and five fifty.

“His national record is not great. When he was the coach, I saw him play on a sewing track in at least two games. And he did not play well there. His technique against the moving ball must improve,” Kulkarni said in a conversation with Times of India.

“He has the tendency to play away from the body, while the secret of success in England is playing late and playing the ball just under his nose. He has to stop some of his blows and should play directly and near the body. He has to work to get the technique just before the tour,” he explained more.
