The auction for the Kerala Cricket League (KCL) 2025 has seen several players to sell in reasonable sums. More than 170 players were recorded for the auction, and were divided into three categories: A, B and C.
The teams were allowed to retain a maximum of four players, including a maximum of three limited players, those that have appeared in competitions such as the Ranji trophy, the Syed Mushtaq Ali trophy, the Vijay Hazare trophy, the IPL or for the Sub-19 India. They also had an RTM card to use if they decided not to retain the four players.

KCL 2025 auction: complete list of players sold
Sanju Samson wrote the story by becoming the most expensive player in the League. He obtained inr 26.8 Lakhs from Kochi Blue Tigers. Last season, it was the league icon, but this time it has decided to participate in the competition.
Other great purchases at the auction were Jalaj Saxena, who obtained inr 12.4 Lakhs and joined Alleppey Ripchles, Vishnu Vinod, who was sold to Kollam Sailors for INR 12.8 Lakhs, and Basil Thampi, who obtained inr 8.40 Lakhs of Royal Trivandrum. They have extensive experience and have also played in India Premier League (IPL) before.
