He who returns Jofra Archer has not been appointed in England playing XI for the second test against India that begins on Wednesday (July 2).
England appointed an XI game without changes for the second test in Edgbaston as the trio of Chris Woakes, Josh Tongue and Brydon Camese retained their places in the five Wickt victory in Headingley last week.

Archer suffered a concern before the beginning of the series, which was supposed to be his return to try the Crick after a waiting for four long years. Coincidentally, the last 30 -year -old test was also produced against India in Ahmedabad in February 2021.

Meanwhile, India desperately needs solutions in two main departments: the batting of its tailenders and its rhythm department firing like a unit. The tastes of Prasidh Krishna and Mohammed Siraj have not been able to obtain wickts at the right time in both entries in the first test and has also proven expensive.
