KKR’s Harshit Rana, who is in line to win his first Test title after earning a call-up for the five-match Test series against the Aussies, elevated his stock by putting in an all-round display with both ball and bat. .

During the match between Delhi and Assam in the Ranji Trophy, Rana took a five-wicket haul on Day 1 of the contest, finishing with figures of 5/80.

Harshit then continued his performance with the ball by showing his batting skills as well. The 22-year-old, who already has a century and a fifty in first-class cricket, reached his second half-century in style. Batting at number 8, he contributed a vital 59 runs off 78 balls, maintaining a strike rate of 75.64 and hitting four boundaries along with three sixes.
