The star of Delhi Capitals (DC), KL Rahul, wrote a massive milestone in the match against its former Lucknow Super Giants Franchise (LSG) tonight in the Indian Premier League (IPL 2025).

Rahul continued his sublime form with his third fifty this season, to see Delhi on the end line with an undefeated 56* (42). In the process, the Wicktkeeper-Bater entered record books to become the fastest player to reach 5K in IPL.

Kl Rahul passed through former Australian opener David Warner, who arrived at the milestone in 135 entries, while Rahul took 130. Third in the list is Virat Kohli, who scored his 5000 in his 157 entries, while Ab de Villiers (161) and Shikhar Dhawan (168) occupy the four and CIFT spots respectively.

Talking about the LSG vs DC match, the fifty of KL Rahul and Abhishek Porel helped DC to overcome LSG and secure their sixth victory in eight games.

Rahul once again gave a testimony of his balance and talent while DC concretized the contest comfortably with eight WICKETS and 13 remaining balls. For LSG, only Aiden Markram could find two scalp, while the rest of the bowling players returned without Wickt.

Previously, LSG published a 159 subpart of 6 in 20 overs despite having a flight start of its opening duo abroad by Aiden Markram and Mitchell Marsh. Mikesh Kumar presented a brilliant playing of bowling at the back of the entries to change the impulse in favor of DC with two waves (14 and 20).

With the victory, DC now has 12 points and is currently placed secondly, while GT, with the same points at the top depending on the upper NR.
