Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) Actions of players at IPL 2025: Mitchell Marsh obtains 9/10, India Batter 3/10

The injuries were a big problem for them this season.

Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) ended its 2025 Premier League (IPL) season of India with a six Wickt defeat against Royal Challengers Bangalore. They arrived seventh in the points table with six wins and eight losses of 14 games.

They started well winning four of their first six games, but then lost form and won only two of their last eight games.

The injuries were a big problem for them. Some of their main bowling players could not play, which weakened their bowling alley. They mostly had to depend on Indian bowling players, and that did not always go well.

On the positive side, their batters abroad, especially those at the top, played well and were consistent.

Let’s see how each LSG player did this season.

RISHABH Pants – 3/10

Rishabh Pant had a disappointing season if we put aside his century in the last game. He scored 269 races in 13 tickets, with 118 undefeated in the last game. That means that he achieved only 151 races in the other 12 tickets, which is quite low for their standards. LSG will expect much better performances from him next season.

AIDEN MARKRAM – 8/10

Aiden Markram had a very good season with the bat for LSG, scoring 445 races in 13 games at a strike rate of 148.82, including five media centers. His performances surprised many, especially considering his last record in the IPL. He also contributed to the ball, taking four Wickts in five entries.

Mitchell Marsh – 9/10

Mitchell Marsh was the leading LSG artist this season. He scored 627 races in 13 games to an impressive average of 48.23 and an attack rate of 163.70. His season included a century and six media centers, showing great consistency with the bat throughout the tournament.

Nicholas Pooran – 8/10

Nicholas Pooran had a strong season with the bat, scoring 524 races in 14 games at an average of 43.66 and an attack rate of 196.25. He hit five half centuries in total. Pooran began the season in great form, with four fifty in his first six games, but he could only drive one more in the remaining eight games. With a little more consistency, it could have been an outstanding season for him.

David Miller – 3/10

David Miller had a season lower than the pair, scoring only 153 races in 11 tickets. His attack rate was also on the lower side in 127.49, which did not help its general impact with the bat.

Abdul Samad – 5/10

Abdul Samad scored 164 races in 12 games. Since he hit below in the order, he faced only 93 balls this season. Given that, it went well with a good attack rate of 176.34.

Ayush Badoni – 6/10

Ayush Badoni had a decent season with the bat, scoring 329 races in 11 tickets. He played at a good strike rate of 148.19 and did two means.
