The Pakistan national cricket team has announced the squad for the upcoming test series against the West Indies national cricket team. The two teams will face each other in the two matches that will be played from January 17 to 21 and from January 25 to 29.

Shan Masood will lead the 15-member team, while Saud Shakeel will be the vice-captain of the team. Overall, the Pakistan national cricket team has made 7 changes from the team in the last test series, which they played against the South Africa national cricket team.

Sajid Khan, who was the team’s hero in the England series, has been called up to the team along with mystery spinner Abrar Ahmed. They will form the spin department with left-arm spinner Noman Ali for the two-match series against the West Indies National Cricket Team.

Imam-ul-Haq and Mohammad Huraira return to the Test squad, replacing the injured Saim Ayub and the out-of-form Abdullah Shafique

Opening batsman Imam-ul-Haq, who last played against Australia in 2023, was also included in the series team along with Mohammad Huraira. They will replace the injured Saim Ayub and the out-of-form Abdullah Shafique in the team.

Aamer Jamal, Mohammad Abbas, Mir Hamza and Naseem Shah were rested during the series due to workload management. In his place, the Pakistan national cricket team retained Khurram Shahzad, recalled Mohammad Ali and included the uncapped Kashif Ali.

Wicketkeeper-batsman Haseebullah, who suffered a split web in his right hand during the Cape Town Test, has been ruled out. He will be replaced by Pakistan U19 and Shaheen captain Rohail Nazir.
