It was followed by a 4-1 defeat against New Zealand in T20Is under new T20I captain Shaheen Afridi. Recently, Babar Azam was reinstated as Pakistan’s T20I captain and began his new tenure with a 2-2 draw in the five-match T20I series against New Zealand at home.
