Gujarat Titans Spinner R Sai Kishore was taken from the field after he was injured as he said goodbye during the IPL 2025 match against the Mumbai Indians (MI) in Mumbai on Tuesday.

How Sai Kishore was injured

The incident occurred during the 16 of the entrances of the Mumbai Indians. Sai Kishore came running from the deep square leg to stop a shot by Corbin Bosch in the fifth Over Bowled ball by Gerald Coetzee.

However, he hurt as he dived to stop the ball. After receiving some treatment in the field, the physio withdrew Sai Kishore from the field.

However, Sai Kishore had finished all his four overs and registered figures of 2/34. The Gujarat Titans restricted the Indians of Mumbai to 155/8. Will Jacks (53), Suryakumar Yadav (35) and Corbin Bosch (27) were the most impressive batters, since the side led by Hardik Pandya endured a forgettable exit with the bat.
