Rachin Ravindra lit the semifinal of ICC Champions Trophy 2025 between New Zealand and South Africa by smoking a spectacular century at the Gaddafi stadium in Lahore on Wednesday (March 5). Rachin Ravindra hit 108 of 101 balls to break multiple albums.
The young batting sensation became the first batter to score her first five centuries Odi in ICC tournaments. Ravindra also destroyed Shikhar Dhawan’s record of India to become the fastest player to reach five centuries in ICC ODI events. While Dhawan took 15 entries to achieve the feat, Ravindra only needed 13 to crush five tons in the 50 megamoneas.

This was the second century of Ravindra in the current ICC Champions Trophy 2025. He had previously criticized 112 against Bangladesh after missing the first game of the New Zealand tournament against Pakistan due to an injury.
However, the left -handed hitter fell for only six races in the final clash of the group against India, but roared again with style when it mattered in the semifinal. With his last ton against South Africa, Ravindra became the first New Zealand batter to score multiple centuries in a single edition of the ICC Champions Trophy.

With only 25 years and 107 days, Ravindra is now the second batter of New Zealand fairer to reach the five centuries of Odi after Kane Williamson, who achieved the milestone at 24 years and 165 days. Meanwhile, Ravindra joined the Elite Club of Champions Trophy and the World Cup Senturions.
Ravindra has recorded his name along with some of the best hitters in the game after scoring multiple centuries both in the ICC Champions trophy and in the ODI World Cup. He martilized three centuries in the Odi 2023 World Cup, and now he has already broken two centuries in the ICC Champions Trophy 2025.
The result in Ravindra became the only fourth player to reach multiple tons in both events. Souv Ganguly had destroyed two centuries in the Champions 2000 trophy before adding three more in the Odi World Cup 2003.
