Wanindu Hasaranga is one of Sri Lanka’s largest stars in the T20 leagues circuit, but he has been an equally effective player in the 50 Overos format.

While his leg rotation is the most requested ability, Hasaranga is more than a useful batter, since he broke a rare hate record on Saturday during the second hate between Sri Lanka and Bangladesh in Colombo.

Hasaranga, who had crossed the 100 wickt brand a few games, just needed a race to reach 1,000 races and came there easily.

However, it was not enough to help his team seal the series against Bangladesh in his homeland, since he was fired for an insignificant rating by Spinner Mehidy Hasan Miraz.

Janith Linayage was the best scorer of Sri Lanka with a brilliant 78, but was fired in the 48th when they needed 27 of 18 balls with a capture back to the Pacero Star Mustafizur Rahman.
