Sanju Samson, Rajasthan Royals’s captain at Indian Premier League (IPL), has been sold for a price at all before the second edition of the Kela Cricket League. The Kochi Blue Tigers acquired the Wicktkeeper battery for a gigantic price of INR 26.8 Lakhs.
Previously, Samson was announced as the brand of the brand of the inaugural edition of the Kerala Cricket League in 2024. But it did not appear in the tournament to prioritize its international commitments.

The 30 -year -old made his IPL debut for RR in 2013. Since then, the gloveman has played in 10 seasons for the franchise so far, except for the two editions in 2016 and 2017 when he appeared for the Diedevils of Delhi (now missing). However, after being held by RR for INR 18 million rupees before IPL 2025, Samson lost five games this season due to some injuries.
He played some initial games only as a batter, due to a finger injury he suffered during the final game of the T20i series in England. He restricted his duties behind the Wickt. The starter also lost some later accessories of the tournament after suffering an abdominal lesion in the middle of the IPL 2025. However, the batter scored 285 races in the nine games of this season, at an attack rate of 140.39.
