
The RCB star Romario Shepherd and the Gujarat Titans Sherfane Rutherford player included in the ODI team of the Western Indies largely unchanged for the England and Ireland series.
The Western Indies of Crickt (CWI) have appointed their team of 15 members for the next hate tours in Ireland and England, with the RCB Allrounder Romario Shepherd and the mass of Gujarat Titans Sherfane Rutherford among the selected players.
The squad sees only a change of the group that secured the consecutive victories of the ODI series about England and Bangladesh at the end of 2024. Shimron Hetmyer, who has had a decent IPL 2025 with Rajasthan Reales, is the only remarkable absent, with the teenage batter and the return to the team. Amir Jangoo, who broke a century in debut against Bangladesh, also retains his place.
The Western Indies currently occupy the ninth place in the Ranking of ICC ODI and will seek to take advantage of their recent impulse, since they point to the automatic rating for the Crick World Cup of CRICKET of ICC 2027.

The core of the team remains stable, with Captain Shai Hope ready to lead a group that includes names established such as Brandon King, Evin Lewis, Alzarri Joseph and Gudakesh Motie. The rhythm duo of Shamar Joseph and Matthew Forde return after missing the Bangladesh series due to an injury.
Romario Shepherd (RCB) and Sherfane Rutherford (Gujarat Titans) offer valuable depth options and power coup in the middle order and will be among the players to see in the six games.
Chief coach Daren Sammy emphasized long -term vision.

The team will face Ireland in a series of ODI of three games at Clontarf Crickt Club from May 21 to 25, before traveling to England for three more hate between May 29 and June 3, starting in Edgbaston. The subsequent T20 team in England has not yet been announced.
Coaching changes
CWI also confirmed updates of its back room, with former Bowling player Ravi Rampaul assuming control of James Franklin’s bowling coach. The former Ireland Soutyrorene, Kevin O’Brien, will join the coaching staff for the section of the Ireland tour.
