The Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) continued their sublime form in the Premier League India in progress (IPL 2025) and won their seventh victory in 10 games last night against the capitals of Delhi (DC).
During the game, a gesture of another RCB member, Swastik Chikara, 20, won hearts. Acquired at its base price of INR 30 Lakhs at the auction, Chikara has not yet presented in a game for RCB this season.
However, he is already gaining hearts after he was seen offering water bottles to croad during the DC game.

The young Ghaziabad took the headlines in September after flying the fastest faster in the T20 Up League, marking 85 races only 27 deliveries. By then, Swastik had already marked his list with an impressive 117 of 101 balls against Himachal Pradesh in Chandigarh in November 2023.
His first -class trip began in October during the Ranji trophy, where he faced Bengal and contributed a quick shot to 41 of 74 balls in the first entries. Later in November, he entered the T20 Cricket with his debut Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy (SMM).
While it will be difficult for Chikara to find a place in an RCB alignment full of stars this season, it is definitely a star in creation and RCB will be anxious to cultivate it. In addition, this season’s team looks extremely well established and would not want to play much with alignment. In case RCB already guarantees a position between two with any remaining game, management could be tempted to give Chikara the opportunity to leave and show its talent.
