David scored 62 runs off 28 deliveries, comprising three boundaries and six maximums, at a strike rate of 221.43.

Newly recruited Royal Challengers Bengaluru star Tim David was at his best during the Big Bash League match between Hobart Hurricanes and Adelaide Strikers in Hobart. He was brilliant with the willow and single-handedly changed the game in favor of the Hurricanes.

David scored 62 runs off 28 deliveries, comprising three boundaries and six maximums, at a strike rate of 221.43. 77.41% of his runs came in fours and sixes, and he found the fence every 3.11 deliveries.

When the strike came, the Hurricanes were 101/4 in 10.4 overs and needed someone to pick up the momentum. David did just that, and when the team took on Power Surge, they capitalized and completely turned the tide.

He remained undefeated during this sensational knock and finished as the game’s leading scorer to lead his team to the finish line. David won the Man of the Match award for his blitzkrieg knock, and this innings was packed with what he is best known for: raw power, especially against pace.
