RCB can breathe a relief sigh with the key landing of Pacer in Bengaluru before IPL 2025.
Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) has received a great impulse before Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 when Sri Lankan Pacer Nuwan Thushara landed in Bengaluru in the midst of rumors of injuries.
There were rumors that Thushara had skipped the SA20 recently due to an injury, but it was reported that he opted for personal reasons. Royal Challengers Bengaluru had acquired the 30 -year -old player for INR 1.60 million rupees at the Mega Auction of IPL 2025 in Saudi Arabia last year.
This will be Thushara’s second season of IPL after having represented the Indians of Mumbai (MI) in 2024. He played seven games for the Mumbai Indians in IPL 2024 and took eight Wickts at an economic rate of 9.88. Thushara’s last competitive game was a T20i against New Zealand in January, when he had ended with 1/33 figures. Thushara had to play for my Cape City in the SA20 tournament. My Cape Town ended up winning the competition after beating Sunrisers Easter Cape in the final.
Nuwan Tuhara’s International Career
Nuwan Thushara made his international debut for Sri Lanka in a T20i against Australia in February 2022 in Sydney. He ended with 1/40 figures in that game. In general, Thushara has played 18 T20is so far and has taken 26 Wickts with the best 5/20 bowling figures, which occurred against Bangladesh last year.
