Shepherd explained that in the first games, the team was fighting like a batting unit. It was then that the RCB bat coach Dansh Karthik intervened and guided them with training and focused tips, which really helped and showed results in the game.
“The first two games we were failing as a batting unit. DK took us and gave us a specific job, it was worth it. I wasn’t thinking about a score, I was thinking of a ball and tried to hit every ball for four or six,” he added.
