Shimron Hetmyer participated in his first batting practice session with Rajasthan Royals before IPL 2025.
Shimron Hetmyer of the West Indies was linked to Rajasthan Royals (RR) before the 2025 season of the Premier League of India (IPL) that begins on March 22. Hetmyer did some batting practices to adapt to conditions. In a video posted by Rajasthan Royals on his official Instagram account, Hetmyer was seen playing some aggressive shots.

He even hit a tripod camera while playing a cover unit. When asked about hitting the tripod, Hetmyer said: “It’s a good start of the season. That’s what I think. That was a very good start of the season.”
The 28 -year -old was one of the six players held by Rajasthan Royals before the mega auction of IPL 2025. Hetmyer was held for INR 11 million rupees. The other retained players from Rajasthan Royals include the Sanju Samson pattern, Yashavi Jaiswal, Dhruv Jure, Riyan Parag and Sandeep Sharma.

In the IPL 2024, the left -hander accumulated only 113 races from 12 games to an average of 22.60. In general, Hetmyer has played 72 IPL games and scored 1244 races at an attack rate of 163.77. He has also scored four fifty.
