The International Cricket Council (ICC) announced on Friday (March 7) the nominees for the Prize for the Player of the CPI for February 2025 by categories of men and women. Shubman Gill is the only Indian player nominated in the category of men and women.
Three players from Australia, one of both India and New Zealand, and one from Thailand has been nominated in the categories for the Award of the Month of the CPI for February 2025.

The Neozygous Estrella Glenn Phillips, the Australian batting icon Steve Smith and the young batting of Bateo of India Shubman Gill are in dispute for winning the award to the player of the month of the CPI in the category of men for their remarkable performance last month.
On the other hand, the 21-year-old left arm spinner of Thailand, Thipatha Putthawong, is competing with the Australian stars Alana King and Annabel Sutherland for the Award for the Player of the Month of the Women’s ICC for February 2025 after her impressive performance in the Nepal Women’s Tri-Nation series.
