
The South Africa squad has been announced for the Tri-series series with the hosts Pakistan and New Zealand. The rapid bowling player Gerald Coetzee has recovered from the lesion in the left hamstrings he suffered during the series of tests against Sri Lanka and is back in the team.
The team is announced only for the inaugural match of the South Africa tournament, since many of the players are involved in the current SA20. Proteas will play their first game on February 10 against New Zealand in Karachi.
The players will be included after the SA20 elimination match between Joburg Super Kings and Sunrisers Eastern Cape on February 5 for the second hate. The CSA also declared that Keshav Maharaj and Heinrich Klaasen would be available to the second game.

The team has six twelve -free players who have been selected so far. But that is mainly due to players with their respective franchises in the SA20. Once the tournament ends, first choice players are expected to return.
