Shreyas Iyer scored 87 races of 41 balls to enhance Punjab Kings to the final of IPL 2025.

Punjab Kings captain (PBKs), Shreyas Iyer, led from the front with an undefeated 87 of 41 balls to overcome the Mumbai Indians (MI) in the Classification 2 clash and promote his team to the final of the IPL 2025. Punjab Kings will face Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in the final of IPL 2025 in Ahmedabad on Tuesday (May 3). This means that a new IPL champion will be crowned.

The kings of Punjab were established from 204 by the Indians of Mumbai (MI) in a game that was delayed more than two hours due to the rain. The 2014 runners -up were in a place of annoyance at one stage, but Shreyas Iyer forged a crucial association of 84 races with Nehal Wadhera for the fourth Wickt.

That stand turned out to be the game changer for Punjab Kings, since they wrote a five wickt victory over the five times champions. The Netizens were amazed at the fabulous blow of Shreyas Iyer against the Mumbai Indians. Here are some reactions:

Ab de Villiers, Essence, Shreyas Iyer

The former Bengaluru Royal Challenge star, Ab de Villiers, had words of praise by Shreyas Iyer after the latter’s blow. “I am a great admirer of Shreyas Iyer. His entries today were out of the world,” he said after the game.

Speaking of persecution, Punjab Kings had an unstable start after they lost Prabhsimran Singh (6) in the third. They had 13/1 at that time and had more than 72/3 in the eighth after the dismissal of Josh Inglis (38). Nehal Wadhera (48) also contributed vital races and her position with Shreyas Iyer changed the play of the game.

However, Ashwani Kumar saw Nehal Wadhera in 16, leaving the kings of Punjab in a place of annoyance in 156/4. Shreyas Iyer was undefeated in 42 when Wadhera was fired. However, Iyer did not flinch for Wadhera’s dismissal and almost only won the game for Punjab Kings from then on.

Previously, the Mumbai Indians went on to publish 203/6 after they were asked to beat. Tilak Varma (44) and Suryakumar Yadav (44) were the key batters for me, but Jonny Bairstow’s blows (38) and Naman Dhir’s blows (37) cannot be counted as well. However, their efforts finally entered.
