The Cupauk Super Gillies Swapnil Singh Swedish produced a brilliant exhibition with the bat in Tamil Nadu Premier League (TNPL) on Monday.

He accumulated 45 races of only 14 balls, hitting two four and five in the process and ended with an impressive attack rate of 321.43.

Swapnil Singh had returned to Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) for IPL 2025 after the franchise brought it to INR 50 Lakh in the mega auction last year. However, he could not get an IPL 2025 game.

On Monday, Swapnil Singh went out to bat in number six when Chepauk Super Gillies was 154/4 in 17. N Jagadeesan (13) had just been fired and the task was cut for Swapnil and Vijay Shankar (47) at the other end.

The Swapnil Singh and Vijay Shankar duo then forged an association of 56 races for the fifth Wickt. That association took Chepauk Super Gillies to 210/5 in 19.4 Overs when Swapnil Singh was fired.

After his dismissal, Chepauk Super Gillies added only a couple more races to the total when they put 212/7 on the board, losing Abhishek Tanwar and Dineh Raj.

At the time of writing this report, Nellai Royal Kings was in trouble with 113/6 in 15. Arun Karthik (32) and Muhammad Adnan Khaan (14*) were the undefeated batters in the fold.
