The former 27 -year -old KKR is joined as Bowler Net after the IPL 2025 auction auction

It was collected by KKR in IPL 2024 but did not play any game.

After a 13 -month parenthesis, the pacemaker Cetan Sakariya has joined Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) as a net bowling player for the next Premier League (IPL) of India.

The 27 -year -old, who has played three limited games for India and appeared in 19 IPL games for Rajasthan Royals (RR) and Delhi Capitals (DC) in three seasons, faced a degradation in their professional career after not going to sell at the auction.

Cetan Sakariya marginalized due to a wrist injury

Despite the tragic personal losses of his father and his brother, the same year: 2021 was aligned with opportunities for the pacemaker. He starts from the winning team of the Saurahtra Ranji trophy before his impressive IPL debut with RR. In 14 games, he picked up 14 wickts with a 3/31 as his best spell. Later that year, it was accelerated to the national team for Sri Lanka Tour.

The next season, it was collected by Delhi Capitals. But a fall in the form saw him appear in just five games for DC for two seasons.

An important wrist injury left him aside from all forms of Cricket. According to Rev Sportz, Sakariya consulted Dr. Sudhir Warrier, recommended by the NCA, to receive treatment.

Second chance with KKR

Kolkata Knight riders have signed Sakariya for the second time. Bought for INR 50 Lakh during the IPL 2024 auction, Sakariya did not appear in any game last season.

However, training together with high -quality players and under an estimated KKR support personnel could be immensely beneficial for the development of their skills. Although he may not have the opportunity to show his signature of the celebration of ‘Black Panther’ in the field, the time that passes in the Nets is like a lifeguard for Sakariya to mark a strong return to competitive cryket.

Sakariya’s most recent appearance was in February 2024, playing for Saurashtra against Manipur in the Ranji trophy.

Sakariya would do well to inspire me in the trip of the pacemaker of India Mohit Sharma in Gujarat Titans (GT). Mohit joined GT as a net bowling player during the IPL 2022. He became a specialist at Key Death Over for the team in the next two seasons.
