Kerala, playing in her first final of the Ranji trophy, fought hard but could not beat Vidarbha. The arduous work and the discipline of Vidarbha throughout the season earned them the trophy. They also ended up as finalists in the Vijay Hazare trophy of 50 above.
Akshay Wakhare leaves a path

He debuted to Vidarbha in November 2006 against Kerala. In general, in his 105 first -class games, he took 344 WICKETS and scored 1,048 races.
Wakhare’s trip was not easy. From 2006 to 2014, he played only 37 games. It was a true test of patience. There were times when he doubted himself, but his brother, Anand, always supported him. In the 2015-16 season, Wakhare finally made its advance. He showed everyone that he was ready to shine.
