The Cricket Board of England and Wales (ECB) appointed Harry Brook as the national pattern of the white ball cryket on April 7. He is ready to take care of the team after the resignation of Jos Buttler after a bad campaign in the 2025 trophy champion. This new responsibility did Brook’s participation in the T20 leagues worldwide.

“England is the way to follow for me and franchise cryket can almost step back for a while,” he told the BBC.

In particular, the English batter recently received a two -year prohibition at Indian Premier League (IPL). Delhi Capitals bought it for INR 6.25 million rupees at the IPL 2025 auction, but retired from the tournament. According to the new rule, the 26 -year -old will not be able to participate in the League until 2027. The Yorkshire player made a clear statement by prioritizing national tasks rather than franchise cricket. It is ready for loss by not participating in the T20 leagues to be available for England.

“I like to play Crick for England more than anything else, so lose some money here and there, I would take it any day to play for England,” Brook said.
